Players will battle each other for the top two spots, gaining Objective Points along three scenarios.
- Entry into the Tournament will be $5
- First place will receive a Box Set of Infinity models of the player’s choosing.
- Second place will receive a single model Blister Pack of their choosing.
Scenarios:
Infinity Tourney – March 2013
The winner of the tournament will be the player with the most Objective Points from all the scenarios. In case of a tie, Cardboard Arcade will come up with a scenario to be fought out for first place.
Escape!
Troop Points: 150
By chance, you seem to have stumbled upon an abandoned weapons warehouse (of a decent size). Because you are the forward scouting party on this planet, you decide to take this opportunity to record the location of the building, its cargo, and any other data that you deem important about the warehouse.
Suddenly, you hear raised voices from the other side of the warehouse… the way you came in. There seems to be no way out besides the direction the voices are coming from, and by the sound of things, those voices seem to know you are here. “Let’s KILL them before they tell others we’re here!” one of them shouts.
It’s time to fight your way out…
- The rules for this scenario closely follow those of the scenario Prologue-2: Final Chance in the Infinity rulebook Campaign: Paradiso.
- The attackers (determined by a face-to-face Lieutenant WIP roll, winner gets to choose attackers or defenders) set up in the Tohaa Deployment Zone on page 25 of Campaign: Paradiso.
- Colonial Troop Reinforcements and Infection rules (on page 25) do not apply to this scenario
- Scenario lasts for 3 game turns
- Objective points for tournament standing, for this scenario, are based solely on those received from the Mission Objectives!
There’s SOMETHING on that Train!
And you WANT it!
Troop Points: 200
You receive word that a supply train, carrying something of value, has made a stop just outside the city you are in. Your sources tell you that other factions are in the area as well, and you are not the only interested party in the train’s cargo…
You mission, plain and simple, is to remove as many shipping crates from the train as possible. Someone, somewhere, will buy whatever it is… However, your source tells you that the train is only docked for a limited time, while it is refueling, so time is definitely not on your side.
- This campaign follows the setup for the scenario Emergency Station in the Infinity rulebook Campaign: Paradiso
- This is a timed scenario, lasting 3 game turns, and each player turn lasts for a maximum of 15 mins. At the 15 minute mark, that player’s turn ends immediately!
- Objective points for this scenario are awarded for successfully capturing crates and opening them up to obtain the cargo inside.
- Only troops containing a PH of 10 or higher can carry the crates.
- Troops carrying crates can move and act normally, as the crate follows behind the troop automatically.
- Crates do not provide cover, and can draw LoF through them.
- Only Engineers and Hackers can open the crates on a normal WIP roll.
- Bonus Objective Points:
- +2 Objective Point for killing the enemy’s lieutenant (unconscious lieutenant does not count)
- +1 Objective Point for capturing, and opening, more crates than your opponent
Hey! You stole my…
Troop Points: 300
The enemy faction sitting across from you on the field “stole” you crates, and you can clearly see them behind their forces. There is only one thing to do… You have to “get them back.”
Kill Them All!
- This Scenarios is also timed, with turns being 15 minutes each per player. Game ends after the 4th game turn.
Objective Points:
- Win: Causing the opponent to Retreat!, or having 25+ troop points more left on the field than your opponent. +6 Objective Points
- Tie: Finishing the game within 24 troop points of your opponent. +3 Objective Points
- Lose: Being sent into Retreat!, or finishing the game with 25+ troop points less left on the field. +2 Objective Points
